Whether on cross country ski or snowshoes,
here are some tips for your safety and enjoyment.

  • Select trails that match your ability.
  • Maintain control of your speed and direction at all times.
  • Stay on trails. Please respect the rights and privacy of the landowners. You may become disoriented if you take short cuts.
  • Keep off closed trails and obey all posted signs.
  • Skiers coming downhill have the right of way.
  • Do not travel alone.
  • Be aware of changing weather and snow conditions. Dress appropriately.
  • Return before dark, winter days are short.
  • Do not walk on trails.
