4 Mile Snowshoe Race
A Fundraising Event
to benefit the Mt. Washington
Valley Ski Touring Foundation

This Granite State Snowshoe Series Event will be held in Whitaker Woods, the intown trail network maintained by the Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring Foundation located in North Conway Village. This 4-mile race course consists of groomed trails and twisty singletrack.

Start Time: 10 am sharp
Check in time: 8:30 - 9:30 am
Registration Fee: $15 before Jan. 14th / $20 beginning Jan. 14th

Snowshoe racing is one of the fastest growing winter sports in the northeast thanks to our fantastic snow and incredible trail networks. This exciting, fast-growing activity will make you fitter and faster than you ever thought possible. Come join us as a participant, or a spectator, at this scenic intown location at the northern edge of North Conway Village.

Thank you to Gianina Lindsey for use of these photos from the first annual event held in January, 2011. Forty-nine participants of all ages competed in the event. Jim Johnson finished first with a time of 0:26:53. Amber Ferreira was the first female finisher (12th place overall) with a time of 0:30:55.
